titleOfInvention | Hair-removal device and method of using one such device |
abstract | Hair removal apparatus for cutaneous and local applications adapted for emit at least one light pulse generated by a current pulse passing through a flash lamp (LF) by forming an electric arc, this current from the discharge of a capacitor (CE) and being controlled by an electronic switch (SW) with fast switching, these three elements being arranged in a main loop (CE-SW-LF). During each discharge of capacitor, the current flowing through the lamp generates a measurement signal (Urm) representative of the current, which is compared to a reference value (Uref) by a hysteresis comparison device (COMP) for controlling the open state or shut off the switch and regulate the current by its high cutting frequency around a certain intensity (Icritic) lasting substantially the entire duration of the pulse of current. The subject of the invention is also a method of setting this instrument to work. |
