abstract |
A printing paper which comprises a pulp obtained by subjecting a mixed pulp containing one or more of a mechanical pulp, a semi-chemical pulp, a chemical pulp and a deinked pulp to a irradiation treatment with an ultraviolet ray and/or a visible light in the presence of at least one additive selected from the group consisting of a reducing agent, an oxidizing agent and a hydrogen-donating organic compound. The printing paper is significantly improved in fading characteristics. |
