abstract |
The invention relates to a colloidal dispersion which comprises particles of a rare earth phosphate (Ln) of rhabdophane structure and furthermore a polyphosphate. It is prepared by a process in which a medium is formed comprising at least one rare earth salt and a polyphosphate in quantities such that the P / Ln ratio is at least 3; then we heat the medium thus obtained and the residual salts are removed by which we obtain the dispersion. The invention also relates to a luminescent transparent material, which can be obtained from this dispersion and which is based on particle of a rare earth phosphate and a polyphosphate and in which the ratio P / Ln is greater than 1, as well as a luminescent system comprising this material and a source of excitement. |
