titleOfInvention | Cerium oxide and zirconium oxide compounds with elevated reducibility and surfaces, preparation processes and use as a catalyst |
abstract | The composition of the invention is based on cerium oxide and zirconium in an atomic proportion Ce / Zr of at least 1, it presents a reducibility rate of at least 70% and an area of at least 15 m2 / g. She is obtained by a process in which a mixture comprising cerium and zirconium compounds; this mixture is brought into contact with a basic compound by which we obtain a precipitate that is heated in medium aqueous; an additive of the following type is added to this medium or to the separated precipitate surfactant or a polyethylene glycol or a carboxylic acid; we grind; we calcine the precipitate thus obtained under inert gas or under vacuum, in a first time, at a temperature of at least 850 ~ C and then under oxidizing, in a second time, at a temperature of at least 400 ~ C. |
