abstract A method and apparatus for evaporating a portion of a waste material, to reduce the amount of waste material, such as wastewater, that must be transported and disposed of. The waste material is received in a tank and heated using a steam tube, electric heater, or other heat source until at least a portion of the waste material evaporates, leaving an unevaporated portion, the unevaporated portion being a lesser amount than the original amount of waste material.
