abstract |
A flame-retardant acoustic material with excellent flame-retardancy and soun d absorbing capability of a hood silencer fitted to the lower surface of a hoo d panel for absorbing the engine noise of a car. The flame-retardant acoustic material (1) is formed of a porous base material (2) containing a phenol resin. Fibers with a size of 0.02 to 50 dtex are used for the porous base material (2) to regulate the content of the phenol resin to 50 to 200 wt.% f or the fabric weight (g/m2) of the porous base material (2). |
