abstract | The invention relates to trifluoromethyl-thiophene carboxylic acid anilides of general formulas I, II, and III, wherein the substituents have the following meaning: R1, R4 independently represent C1-C4alkyl, C3-C6 cycloalkyl, C2-C4 alkenyl, C2-C4 alkinyl, C1-C4 alkoxy, said groups being optionally substituted by halogen, H, halogen, nitro, CN; R2 represents H, OH, C1-C4 alkyl, C3-C6 cycloalkyl, C1-C4 alkoxy, said groups being optionally substituted by halogen; R3 represents C1-C12 alkyl, C3-C12 cycloalkyl, C2-C12 alkenyl, C5-C12 cycloalkenyl, C2-C12 alkinyl, C3-C12 cycloalkyl-C1-C4 alkyl, said groups being optionally substituted by R7; phenyl, phenyl-C1-C6 alkyl, phenyl-C2-C6 alkenyl, phenyl-C2-C6 alkinyl, phenyloxy-C1-C6 alkyl, phenyloxy-C2-C6 alkenyl, phenyloxy-C2-C6 alkinyl, the alkyl portion, alkenyl portion, and alkinyl portion being optionally substituted by R7 and the phenyl ring being optionally substituted by R5; -C(R8)=NOR6; X represents O, S, or a direct bond; R5 represents H, C1-C4alkyl, C3-C6 cycloalkyl, C1-C4 alkoxy, C2-C4 alkenyl, C2-C4 alkinyl, said groups being optionally substituted by halogen, halogen, nitro, CN, phenyl which can be substituted by R1, phenoxy that can be substituted by R1, C1-C6 alkyl-phenyl, the alkyl portion being optionally substituted by halogen and the phenyl ring being optionally substituted by R1; R6 represents C1-C4 alkyl, C3-C6 cycloalkyl, C2-C4 alkenyl, C2-C4 alkinyl, said groups being optionally substituted by halogen, phenyl which can be substituted by R1; R7 represents C1-C4 alkyl, C1-C8 alkoxy, C2-C8 alkenyloxy, C2-C8 alkinyloxy, C1-C4 alkoxy-C1-C8 alkoxy, said groups being optionally substituted by halogen, halogen; R8 represents H, R7, or C1-C12 alkyl, C3-C12 cycloalkyl, C2-C12 alkenyl, C5-C12 cycloalkenyl, C3-C12 cycloalkyl-C1-C4 alkyl, said groups being optionally substituted by halogen; phenyl which can be substituted by R5; n represents 0 to 4; and m represents 0, 1.
