Process for purifying an electrolyte, the electrolyte thus obtained and its uses |
abstract |
Process for purifying a liquid electrolyte containing: between 0.1 and 2 molar of at least one alkaline earth salt; a solvent for the alkaline earth salt which contributes to the conductivity ionic of the solution; - up to 6,000 ppm impurities; and optionally, in the case of electrolytes of the gel polymer type, up to % by weight of a polymer ensuring the formation of a gel matrix within the liquid electrolyte. The method comprises at least one step of contacting the particles of a calcium salt with the liquid electrolyte and allows to obtain an electrolyte purified improving the performance of any electrochemical system in which it is incorporated. |
