Cytokine production-inducing antibody |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for measuring the activation of an effector cell belonging to the immune system, transformed or otherwise, by a monoclonal antibody (AcMo) or a polyclonal antibody, characterized in that it comprises nd a contacting of cells expressing the CD16 receptor in a reaction medium in the presence of the antibody and the antigen of said antibody and measuring the amount of at least one cytokine produced by the cell expressing the CD16 receptor. The invention also relates to the selection of antibodies having the characteristic of inducing the expression of cytokines and interleukins, especially IFN.gamma. or IL2 for the treatment of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, cancers and infections with pathogens. |
