titleOfInvention | Natural gas treatment process with extraction of the solvent in the acid gas |
abstract | The natural gas arriving via line 1 is deacidified by setting contact with a solvent in zone C. The solvent loaded with acidic compounds is regenerated in zone R. The acid gases, released in the conduit 5 during the regeneration, comprise a quantity of solvent. The process allows to extract the solvent contained in the acid gases. Acid gases are put in contact in zone ZA with a non-aqueous ionic liquid having as general formula Q + A-, Q + denoting an ammonium cation, a phosphonium and / or a sulfonium, and A- denoting an anion capable of forming a salt liquid. The acid gases discharged through line 6 are freed of the solvent. The ionic liquid charged with solvent is regenerated by heating in the DE device. Regenerated ionic liquid is recycled through lines 8 and 9 in zone ZA. The solvent is discharged through line 13. |
