Novel polypeptide whose incidence rate is higher in the synovial tissue of human rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients than in the synovial tissue of huma n osteoarthritis (OA) patients; a polynucleotide coding for the polypeptide; a vector comprising the polynucleotide; a transformant cell comprising the vector; and an antibody to the polypeptide. Further, there are disclosed a polynucleotide having at least 15 bases which specifically hybridizes with t he polynucleotide; a testing method useful for diagnosis of RA; and a testing k it useful for diagnosis of RA. |
