titleOfInvention Microcapillary bioreactor for growth of biological tissue
abstract The invention provides an apparatus and methods to grow tissues in a three-dimensional mass, in a fashion similar to the way tissues grow in the mammalian body. A bioreactor according to the invention permits the growth and/or maintenance of biological tissue having a normal histotype, unlike prior art or methodology. The bioreactor further permits viewing of the tissues without disturbing the tissues.
