The invention relates to agglomerates of alumina, of the type obtained by dehydration of an aluminum hydroxide or oxyhydroxide, agglomeration of the alumina thus obtained, hydrothermal treatment of the agglomerates and calcination, characterized in that: - they have a specific surface area between 90 and 220 m 2 / g, preferably between 100 and 200 m 2 / g; -they have a V37.ANG. between 40 and 65 ml / g, preferentially between 45 and 60 ml / 100g; - they have a V200.ANG. greater than or equal to 12 ml / 100g, preferably greater than or equal to 15 ml / 100g, very preferably greater than or equal to 18 ml / 100g; and - they present a specific surface ratio / V200.ANG. less than or equal to 10, preferentially less than or equal to 8.5, very preferably lower or 7. The invention also relates to a catalyst support, a adsorbent material and a catalyst consisting of such agglomerates. The invention also relates to processes for preparing these agglomerates. |
