Transgenic cells and animals for the study of the polarization of the immune response |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a non-human transgenic animal cell. expressing at least one transgene coding for at least one reporter protein, characterized in that the expression of said reporter protein is correlated with the expression of at least one protein naturally produced by said cell and specific for a type of polarization of the immune response and / or an effector function of the immune response. The invention relates also on the corresponding transgenic animal. The cell and the animal transgenic according to the invention can be implemented in a process to characterize the type of immune response, including Th1 and Th2, induced by an immunogen, a pathogen or a chemical agent. |
