Tablets quickly disintegrating in the oral cavity without resort of water and sustaining a practically usable tablet hardness which contain: (a) a pharmacologically active ingredient having a solubility in water of at least about 1 mg/ml; (b) crystals or fine particles of D-mannitol having an average particle diameter of primary particles of about 30 m or more and a specific surface area of about 0.4 m2/g or less; and (c) crospovidone. |
