abstract | A method of characterizing the surface of a sensitive layer deposited on the an optical prism, said surface comprising active zones of which the optical thickness is likely to vary with time, said method using a technique based on the analysis of the variation of reflectivity of the prism interface - sensitive layer, in which one makes enter into the prism a collimated light beam with an angle of incidence allowing total reflection on the basis of the prism, said illuminating beam a fixed part of the interface corresponding to a part to be characterized, angle scan to identify an incidence for which the reflectivity of the active zones is minimum, an angle is determined of optimal incidence for the detection sensitivity of the active zones, adjusts the impact to the optimum value, and the reflectivity is measured using an imaging system; and device for carrying out this method. |
