abstract The present invention relates to an isolation method and waterproofing of roofs. Process characterized in that it consists essentially of coat said support (2) with a liquid or viscous composition (3) to base of modified bitumen or of a bitumen / polyurethane mixture, by coating the asperities (4) and by filling the openings or cavities (4 ') present on the surface of said support (2), then applying said layer insulating material (1) or the discrete elements intended to form said insulating layer (1) on the coated surface of said support (2) before the layer solidifies plaster (3) previously applied, said plaster layer (3) forming, after polymerization drying, water vapor barrier and agent adhesion of the insulating layer (1) on said fixing support (2), and finally applying a sealing coating (6) to the insulating layer (1).
