The invention relates to novel biphenyl derivatives of the general formula (I), wherein R4 represents an aromatic heterocycle, and to the physiological ly acceptable salts or solvates thereof. The inventive compounds are integrin inhibitors and are used for combating thromboses, cardiac infarction, corona ry heart diseases, arteriosclerosis, inflammations, tumors, osteoporosis, infections and restenosis following angioplasty or for pathological processe s that are maintained or propagated by angiogenesis. |
