abstract An incising apparatus (100) for cataract surgery is provided. The incising apparatus (100) includes a handle (110) having a proximal end and a distal end. A circular cutting band (120) is adapted to slide along the handle (110). At least one stop-per element (130) is provided in the vicinity of the proximal end of the handle (110). The at least one stopper element (120) is positioned within the interior of the circular band (120) so as to restrict the motion of the circular band (120) relative to the handle (110).
