titleOfInvention Long-wearable soft contact lens
abstract A hydrous soft contact lens whose surface exhibits a contact angle with wate r of 10 to 50~ when measured by the underwater bubble method and the angle of 30 to 90~ when measured by the droplet method in the air and which has a permeability coefficient for oxygen of 30 or more and a water content of 5 % or more. The hydrous soft contact lens preferably comprises a polymer prepar ed from a hydrophilic siloxanyl monomer represented by a specific general formula. The hydrous soft contact lens has a contact angle with water which is small and stable in water and in the air, is reduced in the adhesion of stai ns during use, has a high permeability coefficient for oxygen, is free from fir m sticking thereof to a cornea, and can be worn for a long period of time.</SD OAB>
