abstract |
A method for controlled delivery of bisphosphonates for treatment of osteoporosis, Paget's disease and other bone diseases is described. The method involves the use of an implantable device, which delivers pharmaceutically effective amounts of the bisphosphonates in the absence of many of the side effects of oral dosing. |
