Compounds useful in treating and preventing hyperlipemia and arteriosclerotic diseases which have an effect of inhibiting the biosynthesis of triglycerides in the liver and an effect of inhibiting the secretion of apolipoprotein B-containing lipoproteins from the liver (the latter effect being particularly excellent), without showing the side effect of fat accumulation in the liver. In general formula (I), R1 and R2 represent each alkyl, alkoxy, etc.; R3 and R4 represent each hydrogen, alkyl, etc.; or R2 and R3 may be bonded to each other to form -(CH2)m-, -N=CH-, ect.; A, D, E and G represent each C, or one of A, D, E and G represents N and the remainders represent C; Q represents N or C; Y represents a group represented by general formula (II) (wherein X represents hydrogen, -C(=O) N (R5) R6, etc; R8 represents nil or a bond, O, etc.; and R9 and R10 represent each hydrogen, alkyl, etc.); and Z represents -(CH2)n-, etc. |
