Recombinant hybridomas are constructed by transferring a gene encoding an amino acid sequence, which is identical with the amino acid sequence of the heavy chain polypeptide of a specific monoclonal antibody, into immortalized B cells (hybridomas) producing this monoclonal antibody, thereby obtaining the monoclonal antibody in a significantly elevated amount from the liquid cultu re medium of the cells. |
