Novel guanosine triphosphate (gtp)-binding protein-coupled receptor proteins, bg3 |
abstract |
cDNAs encoding novel G protein-coupled receptor proteins originating in humans have been successfully isolated by uniquely extracting regions highly conserved in known G protein-coupled receptor proteins and effecting a screening with the use of probes corresponding thereto. Use of these G protein-coupled receptor proteins makes it possible to screen ligands or candidate compounds for drugs capable of regulating the signal transduction from receptors. |
