abstract |
The invention relates to compositions which can be used as NOx traps, based on manganese and an alkali or an alkaline earth and their use in exhaust gas treatment. These compositions include a support and an active phase, and they are characterized in that the active phase is at manganese base and at least one other element A chosen from alkalis and the alkaline earths, manganese and element A being chemically linked. These compositions can be used in a gas treatment process with a view to reducing emissions of nitrogen oxides, as NOx traps, these gases can come from an internal combustion engine and in particular from an engine diesel or engines working in lean mixture. |
