abstract |
The present invention relates to stable subtilin and methods of producing it . A preferred method comprises one or more of the following steps: applying an acidified composition, comprising a subtilin having a naturally-occuring ami no acid sequence, to a hydrophobic interaction column under conditions effectiv e for the subtilin to bind to said column; and eluting said subtilin from the column with an effective elution reagent to form a composition comprising stable subtilin. |
