titleOfInvention Method and apparatus for mounting slider devices onto zipper closures, and packages made thereby
abstract Methods acid apparati for mounting slider devices onto zipper closure profiles; the slider device facilitate mating and unmating the closure profiles. The slider device is mounted onto the zipper closure essentially simultaneously with the formation of slider stops and a notch. In one embodiment, the slider devices are mounted onto the zipper closure with the closure profiles unmated or disengaged; in another embodiment, the slider device are mounted onto the zipper closure with the closure profiles interlocked. The zipper closure, with slider devices, slider stops, and notches, can be stored as an extended length, or incorporated into rescalable packages.
