titleOfInvention Universal cartridge for a mixer faucet
abstract The invention relates to a cartridge, notably for mixing hot and cold water, comprising two disks which are situated on top of each other and together fo rm a sealing area, notably a fixed inlet disk (6) and an adjustment disk (5) which can be displaced and rotated on top of the inlet disk (6). The adjustment disk (5) is mechanically connected to an actuating lever (1) whic h is rotationally mounted in a lever support (2), in the present case via a ceramic drive element (4). The lever support (2) is rotationally mounted in the cartridge housing (3). The part of the cartridge housing (3) located nex t to the inlet disk (6), i.e. primarily the lower part (9) of the cartridge, o n the side opposite the inlet disk (6) has a connection point (14) suitable fo r receiving an insert (10) which preferably has several different functions. T he opening of the connection point suitable for inserting the insert (10) is configured substantially in a direction opposite to the direction of the low er part (9) of the cartridge.
