The invention relates to a method for carrying out gas-liquid reactions in a flow reactor (1) having several parallel reactor chambers (8) which are open in the direction of flow. Space-time yield can be increased by using a reactor having at least three chambers whose ratio of chamber width b to slot width s on average is greater than 3, where the slot width s is between 5 and 100 mm, s is preferably between 5 and 50 mm and s/b is between 5 and 100. The flow reactor provided for by the invention, which comprises at least three chambers (8) and presents the above ratio s/b, is preferably tubular and contains one or more plate stacks (5). The above method is suitable for the production of hydrogen peroxide in accordance with the anthraquinone method, using a suspension--hydrogenation catalyst. |
