abstract |
Intra vaginal devices having an improved in vivo performance insofar as release characteristics are concerned. The devices rely on a polymer matrix impregnated not only with the active ingredient (e.g.: progesterone) to be released but also a suitable cyclodextrin. Suitable polymers include poly (.epsilon.-caprolactone) and starch-like polysaccharides. |
