Treatment of celiac disease with interleukin-15 antagonists |
abstract |
The invention relates to the treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases, such as celiac disease with interleukin-15 (IL-15) antagonists. Preferably the antagonists are muteins of IL-15, antibodies against IL-15 or IL-15 molecule s bound to chemical groups that interfere with the ability of IL-15 to effect a signal transduction through either the .beta. or .gamma.-subunit of the IL-1 5 receptor complex, but which do not interfere with IL-15 binding to IL- 15R.alpha.. |
