abstract | A water barrier sheet which comprises an ethylene/.alpha.-olefin copolymer, characterized in that the copolymer is an ethylene/C3-20 .alpha.-olefin copolymer which has an MFR of 0.05 to 10 g/10 min and a density (d) of 880 to 935 Kg/m3, in which the temperature (Tm (~C)) at which an endothermic curve of the copolymer determined by DSC has the maximum peak and the density (d (kg/cm3)) satisfy the relationship Tm~0.4xd-244, and which has a roomtemperature n-decane-soluble content of 3.0 wt. % or lower. The water barrier sheet is excellent in mechanical strength properties including tensile strength, tear strength and elongation, and in flexibility and fusion bonding characteristics. |
