abstract The present invention relates to a device for conditioning a sample of soil or rock polluted by hydrocarbons. It also allows the packaging of pure pollutants. The device comprises a receptacle (1) containing a sample of soil (3), or rock, and an adsorbent material (4a, 4b) hydrocarbons or derivatives. Preferably, the sample of soil, rock, or pollutant is surrounded by two layers of adsorbent product. The invention also relates to a method of pyrolytic analysis of a sample of soil or rock polluted by hydrocarbons in which the device according to the invention is used.
