abstract | Novel morpholino end-capped polyamino-1,3,5-triazines which have general formula (I), wherein R1 is selected from hydrogen, hydrocarbyl, hydrocarbyloxy and a group of formula (II); each R2 is independently selected from hydrogen, oxyl, hydroxy, hydrocarbyl and hydrocarbyloxy; each R3 is independently selected from an alkyl of 1 to 5 carbon atomes; each of R4 and R5 is independently a hydrocarbyl group; n is 2-12; and x is 1-50. Methods for their use as light stabilizers for materials which are subject to degradation (for example, by actinic radiation), stabilizer compositions based on these morpholino end-capped polyamino-1,3,5-triazines and methods for their synthesis are herein described. |
