titleOfInvention Steel wall framing system
abstract A framework connection arrangement is formed by at least two elongate frame members (1) and (2). The frame members (1) and (2) have a central web portion (11) and (17) and two outer flanges extending substantially in the same direction therefrom. The connection arrangement includes the first elongate frame member (1) has a flap (9) being formed from and projecting from the central web portion (11) in the same direction as the outer flanges, the flap in its formation also forming at least one opening in the central web portion (11). One end of the first or second elongate frame members (1) or (2) abuts against the web portion (11) and (17) of the other elongate frame members (1) or (2), or the second elongate member (2) at least partially extends through the opening in the web portion (11) of the first elongate member (1). The flap (9) substantially aligns with corresponding portions of the second elongate member (2) enabling a connection device (3) to be applied at this aligned location.
