abstract Compounds which are derivatives of formula (I) wherein: R is hydrogen, C16alkyl, C2-6alkenyl, C2-6alkynyl, C1-6alkoxy, C2-6alkenyloxy or C26alkynyloxy, and when R is not hydrogen, R is optionally independently substituted by one or more halogen atoms or hydroxy, cyano or amino groups; V is CH or N; W is O or S; X is an optionally substitued phenyl ring, sixmembered heteroaromatic group or a five-membered heteroaromatic group; Y is hydrogen, NR1R2, C1-6alkyl, C1-6-alkenyl, C2-6alkynyl, Ar, O(CH2)nAr1, (CH2)jAr2, CkH2k-2Ar2, CkH2k-4Ar2 or NH(CH2)lAr5; R1 and R2 are independently selected from hydrogen, C1-6alkyl, C2-6alkenyl, C2-6alkynyl, C1-6hydroxyalkyl and (CH2)mAr3; Ar, Ar1, Ar2, and Ar5 are optionally substituted aromatic or heteroaromatic groups; Z is halogen, C3-6cycloalkyl, C1-6alkylthio, C26alkenylthio, C2-6alkynylthio, NR5R6, Ar4 or Het1; Ar4 is optionally substituted phenyl; Het1 is an optionally substituted or unsubstituted heterocycyclic ring; k is 2, 3 or 4; and l is 1, 2, 3 or 4; processes for their preparation, pharmaceutical compositions comprising them, their use in therapy, in the manufacture of a medicament and in methods of treatment.
