abstract |
A method of producing a modified thermoplastic resin composition comprising the steps of statically mixing a modifier-containing thermoplastic resin when it is added to a conveyor line of a thermoplastic resin, and dynamically mixing the mixture by passing it through agitation blades provided to the same conveyor line and through a dynamic mixer having power for driving them; and a modified thermoplastic resin composition prepared by this method having a filtration pressure rising rate of not greater than 10 kg/cm2 /h when the resin is filtrated by two 2,400-mesh metal net filters having an inner diameter of 64 mm .phi. and superposed with each other at either a melting point of the resin or a temperature higher by at least 20 °C than its plasticization point but lower than 100 °C at a filtration rate of 33.3 g/min. |
