abstract |
Hapten-carrier conjugates capable of eliciting anti-hapten anti--bodies in vivo are described. Methods of preparing said conjugates and therapeutic compositions are also described. Where the hapten is a drug of abuse, a therapeutic composition containing the hapten-carrier con-jugate is particularly useful in the treatment of a drug addiction. The therapeutic composition is suitable for co-therapy with other conven-tional drugs. Passive immunization using antibodies raised against th e hapten-carrier conjugates of the invention are also described. |
