abstract |
The present invention concerns a powder paint intended in particular for coating the inside of packaging containers and characterised in that: 1) it contains at least one polyhydroxy-functional resin with a hydroxyl number between 5 and 200 mg KOH/g and at least one polyisocyanate hardener with more than one isocyanate group per molecule; and 2) it has a grain size distribution such that at least 90 wt % of the powder particles are between 1 and 60 microns in size, the maximum particle size is not greater than 100 microns, the mean particle size is between 5 and 20 microns and the steepness of the grain distribution curve at the turning point is at least 100. |
