abstract A priming system that includes (1) at least one silylated initiator and (2) at least one alkali metal alcoholate as a ligand. The silylated initiator can be monofunctional and chosen in particular from the compounds of formula (I) or bifunctional and chosen in particular from the compounds of formula (II): in which R1, R2, R3 represent, each, independently, a linear or branched C1-C8 alkyl radical; R4 is a linear or branched C1-C8 alkylene radical; M is a metal alkaline or alkaline earth (valence q of 1 or 2); R5 and R6 each represents, independently, an alkyl radical, linear or branched, C1-C8; R7, R8 represent, each, independently, an alkylene radical, linear or branched, C1-C8; M 'is an alkali metal. This system can be used for the preparation of (meth) acrylic (co) polymers.
