abstract |
A navigation apparatus has a position measuring device to determine a current position. The device stores a map as image data and displays a map image on a display. Coordinates are assigned to at least one reference location on the map.Either coordinates are assigned for a second reference location, or the map image is aligned with a reference direction, to establish a coordinate latitude longitude system for the map image. The current position in then displayed on the map image. |
