Oil-in-water emulsions containing an unstable retinoid (retinol or C2-C3 ester thereof) in an oil phase. The retinoid is stabilized in the inventive emulsions, despite the presence of from 50% to 98% of an aqueous phase. The emulsions also preferably include a hydroxy acid. |
