abstract The present invention relates to linear, cyclic or branched polyorganosiloxanes having at least three units per molecule siloxyls of which at least one functional unit of formula (I), in which: R1 represents a C1 to C4 alkyl or phenyl radical; X is a monovalent group enclosing one (or more) amine (s), of formula (II), where R is a hydrocarbon group, U = -O- or -NR'- with R 'being H or a hydrocarbon group, Z is a tetraalkyl-2,2,6,6 piperidinyl, x = 0 and 1; y = 0, 1 and 2; z = 1, 2 and 3; y + z = 3; and a is 0, 1 and 2. The present invention also relates to the use of such polyorganosiloxanes in polymers for notably improve their photostabilization.
