titleOfInvention | Polymerisable acetylene composition and acetylene photopolymerisation process |
abstract | Compositions of at least one non-volatile acetylene isolated or associated to a tight cycloolefin and catalytic amounts of a metathesis polymerisation catalyst are characterised in that they contain at least a single-component catalyst from the group of molybdenum, tungsten, niobium or tantalum compounds that contain (a) at least two methyl groups or two monosubstituted methyl groups without .alpha.-hydrogen atoms in the substituent, or (b) at least one halogen and only one silylmethyl group bound to the metal. These storage stable compositions may be polymerised by exposure to actinic radiation or by a short exposure to actinic radiation followed by thermosetting. Moulded bodies, films, coatings and relief prints may be produced with these polymers. |
