titleOfInvention Triazinyl or pyrimidinyl group-containing amino-silicones
abstract Disclosed are amino silicone derivatives having triazinyl groups or pyrimidinyl groups bound to amino groups of amino silicones, a representative example being given by the formula: wherein R is H or hydrocarbon; m and n are 1-6; h is 0-6; "a" is 1-400; at least two of Y are N and the other is C; p is 1-3 or 1-4; and the triazinyl or pyrimidinyl group may be substituted. The silicone derivatives are able to gel a silicone oil or to increase the viscosity thereof stably and homogeneously, and therefore are useful as a base for cosmetics, pharmaceutical preparations and industrial materials.
