titleOfInvention Circuits, systems and methods for providing resource allocation in a communication system
abstract Circuits, methods and systems are provided for allocating resources in a communication system. A data link is selectively provided between a terminal and at least one of a plurality of communication resources. A memory, an interface and circuitry are provided. The memory is operative to store a plurality of records wherein ones of the records are associated with ones of the communication resources. The interface is operative to receive a data packet including an urgency indicator. The circuitry is operative, as a function of the urgency indicator and at least one of the associated records, to select at least one of the plurality of communication resources. A data link is selectively provided between the terminal and the one or more selected communication resources.
