abstract | The invention is an animal feed composition comprising (a) dried antibiotic biomass containing one or more polyene antibiotics selected from the group consisting of natamycin, amphotericin A and B, virginiamycin, leucomycins, levorin, filimarsin, partricin, and cabimicina unseparated from the residual biomass solids and (b) an animal feed, wherein the amount of antibiotic present in said biomass is sufficient to prevent fugal attack during storage. A preferred antibiotic is natamycin. |
