titleOfInvention Novel pharmaceutical composition for the preparation of a stable powder containing an active principle comprising an association of acetylsalicylic acid and metoclopramide
abstract The present invention relates to a novel pharmaceutical composition for the preparation of a stable powder containing an association of acetylsalicylic acid and metoclopramid as the active ingredient. According to the invention, this composition comprises, as the active ingredient, an effective amount of a water-soluble salt or complex of acetylsalicylic acid in association with metoclopramid or one of its pharmaceutically acceptable salts, and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable hydrophilic polymer in a sufficient amount to stabilize the metoclopramid. This composition has a remarkable stability in powder form and can be used to prepare sachets for the treatment of migraine.
