abstract | The present invention provides a textile print paste binding agent being a polymer comprising a non-aromatic unsaturated mono- or dicarboxylic ester monomer and an aliphatic conjugated diene monomer. An unsaturated mono- or dicarboxylic acid and half esters of the dicarboxylic acid also can be included. In one embodiment, the present invention provides a process of printing a textile substrate comprising applying to a surface of the textile substrate a textile print paste comprising a tinctorial amount of a dyestuff or pigment and a binding agent being a polymer comprising a non-aromatic unsaturated mono- or dicarboxylic ester monomer and an aliphatic conjugated diene and heating the textile substrate to fix the dyestuff or pigment. |
