titleOfInvention | Pneumatic actuated switch |
abstract | A pneumatic actuated switch comprised of a generally cylindrical housing formed of a first housing section and a second housing section having an interior cavity, an annular compression surface on the first housing section dimensioned to oppose and align with an annular compression surface on the second housing section, at least one locking member on the housing sections for locking the first housing section to the second housing section, a pressure responsive member disposed within the cavity defined by the housing, the pressure responsive member defining a first chamber and a second chamber, the diaphragm element formed of a resilient material and including a seal member formed along the peripheral edge of the diaphragm element, the seal member being dimensioned to be compressed by the compression surfaces of the first and second housing sections and to form a fluid-tight seal between the first and second chambers and a compression limiting arrangement for limiting compression of the seal member. |
